Sterling's PerformBI Express solution allows a company to quickly implement and use (at a reasonable cost and with minimal intrusion into business and technology operations) the PerformBI platform's full performance measurement and business intelligence functionally.
PerformBI Express features powerful detect, alert, and communication technologies that allow business users to proactively monitor and manage selected key performance indicators (KPIs) through Sterling's command and control digital dashboard and wireless/PDA.
A selected number of business-critical KPI analytics (usually 5 to 10, depending on the number of data sources) can be immediately installed on PerformBI Express. These analytics can be your business' existing KPIs, can be selected from Sterling's proprietary and pre-built industry- and vertical-specific analytics, or a combination of both. Full drill-down and ad-hoc capabilities are immediately available for PerformBI analytics.
PerformBI Express also allows for the aggregation and analysis of a company's existing, often spreadsheet-based, business reports and performance assessments. These reports are often distributed and aggregated on an ad hoc basis, and management (and related documentation) of follow-ups and further analyses are non-existent or loosely organized.
PerformBI Express allows business users to stay abreast of important business developments that may be buried deeply within the detail of these analyses and yet require timely action. The system automatically examines reports and alerts subscribers about critical business indicators. Executives can easily detect, quickly follow-up, document and improve on key business performance drivers, thereby fostering a culture of performance and improved accountability.
PerformBI Express is rapidly implemented and deployed across a business unit or an entire enterprise. Business users can begin first accessing PerformBI Express within 6 to 8 weeks through utilization of Sterling's "TimeBox" implementation methodology.
The PerformBI Express solution is a service bureau based solution hosted on Sterling's servers in Princeton, New Jersey. Secure access is immediately available on a business user's desktop and wireless/PDA. Internal deployments are also available.
PerformBI Express is available across Sterling's industry- and vertical-specific solutions offerings, including Capital Markets, Insurance, Compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley / Corporate Governance, Insurance, Contact Center / CRM, Energy, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare.
Digital Dashboard
Sterling's Digital Dashboard provides an intuitive workspace for command, control and communication via a standard web browser, giving the user access to reports, alerts, and tools such as wire feeds, news services, video, and other information sources. Over 300 pre-built analytics and data models allow for the rapid deployment of the solution.
Additional reports and performance indicators are scheduled in company determined phases based on a prioritization of business requirements using Sterling's proprietary Deployment Methodology.
The Dashboard is easily customizable to meet the desktop preference of users. It allows the user a great deal of freedom; while at the same time provides immediate notification of "out of" parameter conditions. Because of the intuitive design, very limited business user training is required. The dashboard allows for extensive slice and dice and drill down capabilities and ad hoc report generation designed for non-technical professionals, along with robust charting and graphics.

Performance Indicators
Performance Indicators provide the measures used within ad hoc reports, standard views, and alerts. Results can be displayed in Reports, Graphs and Charts that provide an easy to understand visual representation of Trends and Patterns.
Reports are integrated into the Dashboard to provide a user with a single point of access. Through the TradeBI Navigator users can quickly find and review all information and definitions in Standard Analytics, Alerts, Distribution Lists, and other areas that are all documented in the business language you understand.
Detect & Alerts
Detect & Alerts run in the background to monitor rules-based scenarios. When a specified condition is met, an alert is activated. Alerts are usually triggered by the Performance Indicators, but can also be triggered from a specific set of business rules. Features include alerting business users via the Dashboard, by Email or by Wireless device, and providing the ability to forward these alerts by a simple point and client operation for receipt by Email or Wireless device.
Wireless Access
Wireless Access allows business users to access reports and receives alerts via their cell phone, Palm Pilot or other PDA device. Sterling has pre-built report formats suitable for wireless devices.
